Job 2 - Install a Game

Step 1 - You have to check the settings of the game match your setting on your computer and it is able to run in a stable way with out causing your computer to crash or lag. You can do this by looking on the back of your game and then typing your model number of your computer into a search engine to check the specifications, some game already have this feature installed so you wont have to go though this effort. here are the tech specs for Left for Dead 2

Minimum System Requirements

  •  • Operation System: Windows 7 / Vista / XP

Step 2 - Now you have to unpack your disk and insert it into your disk drive of your computer

Game Disk

Computer Disk Drive

Step 3 - Your computer should automatically detect the disk, but if it doesn't then go onto your computer drive manually by clicking START>MY COMPUTER>DISK DRIVE then your game installation setup will begin (note- if you are using a laptop you may want to plug you wall outlet power in)

Step 4 - You will now be guided though the complete set up and installation of your game, when my installation wizard opens for left for dead this is the first screen I come across, It asks me to enter my activation code from the game, you can retrieve this from your disk or your game case

The next steps just ask you when you would like to install the file and would you like to create a shortcut on the desktop this is very general stuff and non complex, just follow the tutorial through and enter your own settings then finish the wizard. You have successfully installed a Game

Changing in Game Settings

Every user is different when playing games some are novices and require help from either the game or even sensitivity settings being on a low mode. But some gamer's like to play quickly and change these settings to suit them. Here I am going to change the Resolution within the game play of Left For Dead 2

Step 1 - Boot your game

Step 2 - Load your game

Step 3 - Pause the game and Select Options

Step 4 - Change the Resolution Settings then Click Done

Step 5 - Change the Resolution to the level you require then Return to Game play
